| Scope of Activity: | Weishaupt is a global market leader for burners (ratings up to 32 000 kW), heating and condensing-boiler systems, solar technology, heat pumps, and building automation.The Weishaupt Group employs over 4100 people around the world. The business, which was founded in 1932, is currently in its second generation of leadership under the aegis of Dipl.-Ing. Siegfried Weishaupt. Production plants are sited in Germany and Switzerland. R&D facilities and burner production are located at the Group's headquarters in Schwendi, Germany, which employs around 1000 people. Heating systems and condensing boilers are manufactured in Sennwald, Switzerland. The building automation product division is the responsibility of Weishaupt's Neuberger subsidiary, which is based in Rothenburg, Germany, and employs around 400.
